Cloud Services

Architecture and Design

With ever growing data needs, unpredictable traffic patterns, and the ongoing demand for faster response time, it’s imperative that businesses implement “Best Practices” design when moving workloads to the Cloud. Our team is certified with both Microsoft and Amazon, and can put in place a Best Practices design to move your business to the Cloud.

Cloud Identity and Access Management

As more and more workloads move to the Cloud, users expect a seamless and simplified user experience. Requiring users to continuously have to log into multiple accounts as they move from one service, website or application to another will not only cause frustration and confusion, but will increase ongoing operations costs. The solution is single sign-on to any Cloud and on-premises (or intranet) application. We can help you set up Azure Active Directory from Microsoft, which provides a secure single sign-on to the Cloud and on-premises applications including Office 365, and thousands of SaaS applications such as Salesforce, Workday, DocuSign, ServiceNow and Box.

Migration to the Cloud

Migrating to the Cloud is often hyped as a no-brainer. In most cases, cloud services can be tremendously beneficial, however, there are some cases were a cloud migration doesn’t make sense. As an organization contemplates the risks and benefits of cloud migration, it is important to keep in mind that cloud migrations are not an all-or-nothing proposition. Organizations do not have to go “all in” with cloud migrations. In most cases, it will make sense to move certain services to the cloud while continuing to operate others on-premises. We can create a successful migration strategy that includes an assessment of your infrastructure, applications and planned security to ensure that appropriate and fitting workloads are migrated successfully with the anticipated results.

Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Office 365

The prospect of using cloud services is often particularly attractive for smaller organizations and startups. In the case of a smaller organization, the use of cloud services provides access to enterprise-class hardware and fault-tolerant features that would otherwise be unaffordable. Similarly, startups can benefit from cloud services because they can get their operations running quickly without having to invest in on-premises data center resources.

We are certified for both Microsoft’s Azure and Office 365 cloud services as well as Amazon Web Services. We have implemented and supported clients that utilize either Azure or Amazon, and, in some cases, both cloud providers. There are very compelling offerings from both providers, so it’s important to with a firm like us that understands this.
